San Diego is a beautiful city, however this prime placement with many things to do comes at the expense of a higher cost of living. For those who desire to live in San Diego with everything an easy its easy commute away but would prefer a more affordable neighborhood, here are the most recommended spots.

Chula Vista

One of San Diego’s most attractive qualities is the fact that the beach can be right by your neighborhood. Chula Vista is one of the few neighborhoods in which you can keep this beach-side quality without the extraordinarily high price tags. Chula Vista has some of the best waves and has a median value of $100,000 from the average in San Diego.

Gaslamp Quarter

Gaslamp Quarter has been modernized over the years while keeping its original old-school charm many loved. This neighborhood is surrounded by delicious food places, adorable boutiques, and a few great museums. All of this with the fact that it is one of the most affordable housing areas in San Diego makes it perfect for many new homeowners.

Poway

Poway is a more rural area however has gotten busier over the years as more families come for the great educational institutions from elementary schools to high schools. In addition, The way Unified School District has an excellent homeschooling system for kindergarten through 8th grade which makes it a desirable spot for many new families.
